About the project
The design site can be referred as unique – located at a high bank a the Black Sea, smothering in verdure, and havinggreat views of the sea surface and pure marine air. The architects had to design a house of 1,800 m2 for two brothers and their families. Every family needed some private premises and a common public space for family occasions. The concept of a classical seaside Italian house with a traditional turret, roof tiling and verges, travertine cladding, cartouches and bass reliefs on the facades.
At the same time, the site has its specifics – because of its seismic properties and difficult to use ground, the authors had to use monolith reinforced concrete structures for foundations and frames.
