Abouttheproject
The project of this modernist villa of 350 m2 was developed for a family of four people. The highlight of the project is a magnificent winter garden made of glass structures.
Space planning of the building is based on elementary geometric shapes. The image of the villa was inspired by the article of Austrian architect Adolf Loos “Ornament and Crime.” Comparing architectural ornaments to tattoos of the Papuan or of criminals, he made a paradoxical conclusion that as culture evolves, ornamentality of everyday things gradually fades away. It was Mr. Loos who established a foundation for perspective Modernism development.
Following his concept, ornamentalism is missing in our project. Only harmonious proportions, austere lines, clear spaces, and white walls to bring all of it into focus.
