About the project
This mini hotel at the winery stands on a small hill in a miraculously picturesque spot in the town of Barolo (north western Italy).
Villa of Wine is a one-level building with a semibasement of about 2,100 m2. It comprises 5 single and double rooms, a roomy restaurant with a panoramic vista of the winery, a kitchen, some staff rooms, a spacious green atrium, a gallery with barrels, and a degustation room.
The facility is carefully fit into the landscape. The choice of materials is in favor of genuine ones – concrete, metal, ceramics, and glass.
