The project entails a comprehensive reconstruction of the Ascension Barracks ensemble, an outstanding architectural monument, based on the principles of the careful preservation of architectural heritage and its adaptation to modern public functions. A key architectural solution is the introduction of a modern glass volume into the center of the historic quadrangle, creating an expressive dialogue between eras without competing with the historic fabric.

The project includes the restoration of the bell tower at the Church of the Ascension, as well as the landscaping of the inner grounds to form a public space. The functional programming involves hosting cultural, educational, and office spaces, ensuring the sustainable use of the complex and its integration into the urban environment.

The project demonstrates a balance between preserving the authenticity of the monument and revitalizing it through a modern function, in keeping with the spirit of the place.
