The house is organized like a matryoshka doll. Moving from the exterior toward the centre, several layers can be identified: the terrace, the perimeter of rooms, the central hall and the staircase.

There are no corridors in the house. This layered planning structure creates several cyclical “orbits” and an almost limitless range of possible routes through the interior.

The ground floor has no rigid boundaries. The transition from the natural surroundings into the interior takes place in several stages. First, you enter an open gallery. Then, through numerous glazed doors, you move into the warm interior spaces. Extensive glazing visually connects these spaces with the landscape.

The interior rooms converge around the central staircase atrium. At the greatest distance from the outer boundary, at the very centre of the house, the surrounding vegetation re-emerges as a green core. A staircase made of metal tubes appears to float, as if afraid to disturb the delicate life of the interior garden.
