The design of the house named "Windcatcher House" has been done according to the climate and native structures of the middle east region with hot and dry weather. In the design process, attention has been paid to the history of buildings in desert areas, in addition to that, the design looks at meeting the needs of the residents in the current and future condition.

The inspiration from elements such as windcatchers, central courtyard and the brick façade, which has a history of use in the traditional architecture of the region, while using small solar energy absorption systems to supply electricity and hot water to the house, can be a model for future houses in this region, considering the climate and the amount of radiation and sunlight. using a central courtyard with a pond and traditional materials such as bricks and tiles together can help provide natural lighting to the building and soften the air in the hot summer of the desert.
