Wine Cultural and Leisure Center (Russia)

Project
Wine Cultural and Leisure Center

Best Project of Public Building or Facility

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The center is a building with two above-ground floors and one underground floor. The floors are rotated relative to each other according to the angle formed by the road axis and the existing production building. The building’s proportions integrate it seamlessly into the overall production structure of the winery.

The façades are clad in metal, a durable material that changes in shade over time. The unique shape of the façade panels emphasizes the concept of “urban” in the winery’s name, “Urban Wine.”

The underground floor houses the wine cellar. Along the road, the first floor features a glazed façade through which the foyer, ticket counters, shop, and presentation hall with an internal courtyard are visible. The second floor contains the main exhibition space of the center and provides access to a balcony overlooking the production area.
