About the project
Here, 3 to 4 storey commercial buildings had to smoothly fit in with the 1 and 2 storey houses, which was quite a challenging task. To ensure the festive and grand image of this part of the street, the buildings were split into two blocks, each of them featuring two differently leveled units, rising above the stylobate. Block 1 is located at the corner of Kęstučio and Lentkoji Streets. Block 2 is recessed away from the street, shaping the front yard. The final outline of the new facility reechoes the scale of the surrounding private houses, which helps with its merging in the existing urban environment.
