The leader of global elevator and escalator market has become a partner of the architecture and design awards taking place in St. Petersburg.
“Otis is known as the benchmark company supplying the state-of-the-art elevator equipment across the globe, in particular – to Russia, and St. Petersburg. However, not everybody knows how long and deeply this name has been doing with the history and culture of St. Petersburg. The first Otis elevators were installed in Russia as early as in 1893 – ordered personally by Emperor Alexander III, they were mounted in the Winter Palace. Later, Otis elevators were installed throughout Russia,” remarks Elena Lugovaya, Communications and PR Director at Otis MEECA (Middle East, Eastern Europe & Central Asia). “Our partnership with the Golden Trezzini Awards is just an expected extension of our long-term presence in Russia’s cultural capital. There is no doubt that architecture is art, and Otis is happy to give this art a lift through introduction of its advanced technologies in the Russian market and acting as a partner of this major event in the field of design and architecture.”
In 2020, Otis became an official partner of the Third International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design. Otis is one of the global leaders in production and maintenance of lift-and-carry equipment. This is a full service company offering the complete range of services starting with production, design, and sale of the new equipment, and finishing with service maintenance, upgrade, and dispatching control of equipment. The company’s sales geography covers all the vast territory of Russia from Kaliningrad in the West to Khabarovsk in the East. Currently, the company has over 50 regional centers throughout Russia and employs 3,000+ workers.
