About the project
This small apartment in the Prince Orlov Development (St. Petersburg) was designed for further renting. The customer wanted the designers to arrange an entrance lobby, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen combined with the dining room, the living room, and the workplace. Total area of the apartment is 44 m2, and the budget was quite limited.
The bedroom, the entrance lobby, and the bathroom feature the dark grey palette. This helps with merging these spaces into a single functional unit and also ensures contrast with the light kitchen zone. Burgundy key elements make the somber grey scheme more balanced.
The transparent partition made of glass bricks between the bathroom and the lobby lets more light into the latter, and makes the lobby look more extensive.
