About the project
This project is a cultural centre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Many large trees around the building are intended to give shade in the summer. The outdoor space plan provides for a parking lot for cars and buses, a fountain, a number of recreation zones with benches, and an observation deck.
The centre comprises a venue with several auditoriums, an educational area, and a service zone. The visitors to the centre will be able to come here outside its opening hours and walk around, enjoying the nature and admiring the building. Both the parametric details on its façade and the canopy on the walk-on roof serve as sun protection, which is important in the hot summer weather.
