Category Best Implemented Restoration / Reconstruction Project
About the project The restoration of the Dalan Jahan began with the idea of spreading the culture of protection and restoration of historic buildings. A Qajar –Safavid era house on the verge of demolition, which restorated by the consultant with the help of a group of heritage enthusiasts, today has become one of the most attractive places in the south of the Naqsh-e Jahan square and it has an eternal view of the Abbasi Grand Mosque and the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. With the start of this project in the southeast of Naghsh-e Jahan Square, in a desolated place, known as the Dark Corridor ( Dalan Jahan), a new breeze flowed in this area, and gradually, the houses adjacent to the Dalan Jahan Hotel Boutique have restorated.
