About the project
The site is located within Moscow A101 residential complex in Kommunarka village.
The project’s initial conceptual design phase lasted a year and was completed in 2017 as a joint effort of DK Architects and Kremnev Atelier. All the further stages were carried out by Kremnev Atelier alone. The design uses the building’s structural components as part of the indoor space. It’s formed by wooden beams of the pitched roofs, a concrete frame and glass block partitions. The monochromatic colour scheme is mostly gray, white, and black with a bold addition of warm-coloured natural wood.
