About the project
Hostal Merced located in the iconic municipality of Centro Habana was a challenge from its design to its construction. It is built in a space with a 5 m prop on the ground floor of an Art Deco building in the province of Havana. A mezzanine is built so the challenge was great, since in the second half of the premises the building's beams had a fairly large depth so that the minimum passage from one space to another was impossible, his solution was to play with the unevenness in both floors.
