About the project
The basic concept of the project is bringing nature back to the post-industrial site, overall reboot of the district, and introducing new implications.
In particular, an unusual children playground was designed, featuring sculptures by a Moscow-based artist Masha Somik. The 1st of the several residential units within Metropolia development was commissioned in autumn 2021. UTRO designers are currently working on the further steps. Step 2 includes a park courtyard, enclosed by an extended pergola with swings. The discovery garden, the sports site, and the large children playground will be located near it.
