About the project
A residential development needs a heart, an attraction for the locals, a place where they can meet. This should be a part of the urban environment where they do not live or work – some universal place offering rest from the both.
Before the project works were initiated, the designers analyzed the situation in the development and found a place that would solve the task. A 15-minute walk from anywhere across the district, the designed center comprises three units, each of them with a different function. The bridge that connects them resembles its ancestor from the Middle Ages – it is intended for commercial premises, but it also works as a square at the center of the walkway between two parts of the district.
