About the project
There are a lot of old small buildings in Samara that date back to the 19th century. Some of them are not listed as architectural heritage and thus can be reconstructed. The author of the project offers various scenarios of readjustment of such buildings to today’s situation without significant changes of the city’s historical appearance. Leaving the general layout and engineering utilities in the reconstructed building almost untouched, the author suggests locating commercial, educational, managing, producing, catering and other facilities within.
