About the project
The greenhouse with the wine cellar is a half-destroyed red brick building at the border of Nekrasov’s manor. The architect decided to keep the original dimensions and outlines of the facility.
The greenhouse will be glazed with transparent matte glass to provide a neutral background and enclosed into the steel wire belvedere. Its western block will be used as a garden café with 25 to 30 seats, whereas the eastern section will be used for plants.
The materials of the wine cellar will be smooth grey concrete, which will contract the edged red brick and exhibit it, highlighting the spirit of the place. The cellar will become a museum visit-center and a public archive that can be used as a lecture hall.
