Category Best Project of Building or Facility by Student
About the project The development is designed at the premises of the ex exhibition center LenExpo, one of the remarkable facades of St. Petersburg that outlook the Gulf of Finland. The comfortable environment is designed with due regard to the local memorials and Pavilion 9.
The designed estate in the northern part of the site embraces 5 point blocks, 3 of them standing on the embankment and offering great vistas over the water and 4 slab blocks. The further from water, the higher are the roofs.
One of the highlights of the estate is the building on the crossroads of the boulevard and the embankment. Its appearance was inspired by a passenger cruise liner.
Applicant and author of the project Alexey Serov, student of the Master’s program, St. Petersburg Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering
