About the project
The project explores two ideas:

  1. A riverfront walkway. The project proposes transforming the embankment into a pedestrian and recreational promenade, thus creating a new tourist route, which will connect some important points of interest.

  2. Revitalization of the area. The project includes the creation of a new urban meeting place adjacent to the promenade, namely a cultural and educational cluster. It will house a centre for inclusive education, a multifunctional children's centre and a students’ centre, an event venue, a food market, as well as functional zones engaging different senses.

Area between Nikolsky Lane, Schepyany Lane, Kryukov Canal and Fontanka River, plus a section of Kryukov Canal Embankment, St. Petersburg, Russia
