About the project
The city of Samara stands at the Volga River, and this has its effect on the lives of its citizens. The boat traffic in the region is quite intense, but there is no riverside station in the city.
This is a project of a station with a functional scenario to ensure its operation as a multifunctional public facility. The shape of the building is inspired by the winds, waters, and old rocks in the Zhigulevsk Mountains.
