Passive house project with Biophilic design philosophy
Category
Best Implemented Apartment / Private House Interior Design Project
About the project
Passive house made out of wood in a country town in Belgium. The philosophy of decorating this house is using the principles of biophilic interior design, which I am an expert in.
The main purpose of the house was to reconnect the outside to the inside; this way extra windows were installed to make this experience very enriching for the inhabitants. By using ecological paint and the right palette of colors we created a welcoming and homely effect. Many of the materials were from the surroundings or local.
Habitarmonia designs interiors in a more holistic way. Our first approach is how our clients want to feel in their homes, which atmosphere they want to create, and which emotions take place. In the second approach, we introduce the right textures, colors, and furniture to make people thrive in their spaces (all this with the help of Environmental Psychology and Biophilic Design).
