About the project
Within the original layout of the Pedregal, is Agua 210, the reinterpretation of a House from the 50's through a continuous dialogue with the volcanic landscape. Volumetrically, the proposal is articulated from two axes. On the one hand, the grid prior to this project, a small echo of the original house from 1955. On the other, the precepts established from the beginning of the development of Pedregal by Luis Barragán, which bet that the architecture and the landscape communicate with each other. A) Yes. three houses are sheltered in the middle of a mature garden. As a visual finish to the houses, a succulent garden serves as a space for contemplation and silence. This garden includes a sculpture by the Tezontle studio that refers to the great pieces by Edward James in the Huasteca jungle, another modern artist whose interest was to fuse human and plant architecture in a single dialogue.
