All the applications previously submitted for 2020 Golden Trezzini competition, have been processed. Projects from 59 countries are approved for participation.
The Arrangements Committee of the Third International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design has completed the processing of applications and is happy to announce that 744 projects have been approved for participation. These are projects that have been implemented or proposed for implementation in 59 countries of the world, such as Albania, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan , Korea, Latvia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, UK, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Yemen. United States Olympic and Paralympic Museum (Colorado, United States, Diller Scofidio + Renfro design studio)
The Qualification Committee is assessing the participants’ projects at the moment, to define the finalists. The shortlist will be announced on 5th November 2020. From November 6 through 20, the finalists are to be evaluated online by the international Jury. The winners will to be announced and awarded on December 1.

The International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design are named after Domenico Trezzini (1670—1734), the first architect of St. Petersburg and the founder of Petrine Baroque. The Awards have been held since 2018. The motto of the Awards is “Architecture as Art.” The Awards are intended to acknowledge and promote architectural and designer projects that amount to works of art. The Honorary Chairman of the International Council of the Awards is Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage, St. Petersburg.
