Two St. Petersburg projects of the RBI real estate development company are among the nominees of the 3rd International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design.
Bolkonsky residential complex in Admiralteyskiy district comprises 156 flats consists of three separate buildings. Even in the largest one there are only 84 flats. Almost all of them have balconies or terraces. Working on the project, the architects were inspired by the luxurious St. Petersburg apartment buildings of the early 20th century. The light grey shades of the facades, risalits, bay windows, pitched roof with lucarnes – all these features help to fit the buildings into the historical surroundings. The complex features an underground parking and a green courtyard. The car-free area is fenced off. The playground is equipped with interactive installations. The residential complex id designed by Proektnaya Kultura architectural bureau.
Biography is a compact residential complex in the centre of the Petrogradskiy district, near the Chkalovskaya metro station. The two buildings, a large eight-storeyed and a small two- and four-storeyed, comprise 134 apartments. The small building is a renovated two-storeyed house with preserved historical facades. The facades are reminiscent of the Russian Empire style, and the complex fits perfectly into the surroundings. There are genuine paintings at the entrances and artistic photographs in the halls. A decorative hand-forged reed-shaped lamp is installed in the yard. Another feature of the project is a most state-of-the-art intercom system with face recognition. Thanks to it, the residents are able to open the gates and entrance doors remotely by using their smart phone. Prospect architectural bureau (Architectural Bureau of A. Shenderovich) designed the Biography residential complex.
