About the project
Casa Avándaro is located on the shores of Valle de Bravo ́s lake, 5 kilometers from the town, where the Valle de Bravo ́s renowned hotel and golf club are located. The property has double front adjoins at one end with the club ́s main street access and on the other (and in an upper level) towards the view of the golf course.
The initial proposal was to solve the privacy issues compromised by the adjoining roads; and the
second approach was to take advantage of the wide front to integrate the garden and the house. From this starting points, the house goes down on level from the street separated 7 meters from it to create a back garden. Access from the street level is generated through an outdoor stairway that articulates the social area and the bedroom’s volume. Several rooms are located along the east side of the property to take advantage of the morning sun.
