Category Best Project of Building or Facility by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant) The key feature of the complex’s architecture is the crescent—a symbol of Islam. This is reflected both in the master plan and in the architectural form of the mosque itself. The mosque is accompanied by a madrasa, a spiritual literature library, and facilities for religious staff. In a separate building, there is a hotel for pilgrims and a museum-exhibition block. Landscaping logically separates the sacred mosque area from the more secular hotel zone. The complex also includes an underground parking lot with 100 spaces.
