About the project (provided by the applicant) The reconstruction project of the historic pier on the city pond in Yekaterinburg aimed to restore its historical appearance and functionality as an important element of the urban environment and cultural heritage. The renovated pier has become a safe and attractive place, enhancing the city’s tourist appeal and improving the quality of life for residents. In 2025, the pier hosted over 60 performances by various groups, as well as a SUP festival, a dinner, and an open-air painting event, confirming its status as a cultural venue.
Additionally, a bioplato for phytoremediation was implemented, with aquatic plants planted to help purify the pond water, improving the ecological situation and supporting biodiversity.
