About the project (provided by the applicant) The villa design began with a detailed site analysis, focusing on maximizing natural light throughout the house. The form was adapted to the land’s slope, using the terrain to shape intimate and functional spaces. A key priority was the southern yard, where the family spends much of their day, while another was separating private rooms from the living area, achieved through two distinct floors. A gazebo was placed in the east, allowing the grandparents to meet neighbors while ensuring privacy and security were preserved. Considering the local climate, a gable roof was chosen to enhance comfort. For convenient access, especially for middle-aged family members, an elevator connects the parking level to the floors. Finally, at the client’s request, the private quarters were located on the second floor, enabling residents to enjoy the surrounding views while maintaining separation between shared and private zones.
