Best Implemented Project of Public Building or Facility
About the project (provided by the applicant) The school is located in Gatchina and features a radial layout. Three blocks—the primary school, the main school, and the sports core—radiate from a central atrium, forming a characteristic Y-shaped structure.
The architectural concept emphasizes a distinctive and memorable character while maintaining clarity and functionality. Special attention was given to the sports hall, whose volume contrasts with the strict geometry of the main blocks. Facades are clad with wood-textured panels and stained-glass glazing, complemented by yellow decorative elements. The stepped roof silhouette creates a fluid composition and adds lightness to the massive structure. The project is designed to transform the school from a place solely for learning into a vibrant hub for students, teachers, and parents.
