Category Best Project of Building or Facility by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant) The site is located near Volkovskaya Metro Station. The decision was made to preserve the old Church of St. Ludmila and construct a new church nearby, which is planned to be dedicated to St. Wenceslaus, her grandson.
The new church is built using 3D printing technology, giving its walls a unique texture. The structure is reinforced with stiffening ribs.
The bell tower with an onion dome symbolizes the aspiration of faith toward heavenly purity and height, while the main form of the church with a helmet-shaped dome embodies spiritual struggle.
